To me, gaining more access to education basically enhances a person's possibilities throughout their lifetime.
Xiang Li is a firm believer in the power of edtech and is deeply committed to using it as a means to promote equity in education, currently pursuing an MBA at Tsinghua University and Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business. With a background in English (BA) and Journalism (MA), Xiang began her career as a journalist and publicist, honing her ability to connect with diverse audiences and fostering a fusion of worldviews.
As an edtech advocate inspired by a destined volunteer teaching experience, she has ever since been leveraging tech to produce equitable education resources and accesses.
As Chief Marketing Officer at Monki.ai, an ed-tech company with over 10 million global users, she leads initiatives integrating generative AI into pedagogical methods, including a major AI-agent product with Hunan Museum, one of China’s top museums, and an interactive GenAI powered reading tool . Xiang is also among the first professionals in China to apply generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and brain-computer interface (BCI) technologies to the education sector, hoping to achieve a more adaptive learning method for every student everywhere.
Her commitment to equitable education was incubated during a volunteer teaching experience at a rural school in Beijing, where she witnessed the transformative power of digitalized learning and have practiced to make progress to bridge divides in learning opportunities by leveraging technology.
During her spare time, she also initiated donations and podcast to provide pro-bono educational information and services;
